ALTUZARRA Spring 2011….A virtual report of New York Fashion Week…straight from Fashionechoes’ Lightbox on Vogue.com….

Space age cuts in body conscious dresses with unusual combinations like crisp white fabric with python skin details and a fluo orange belt …or an acid yellow top over the high cut of an all python skirt …can certainly make this collection noticed. Then come the midnight blues…in one shoulder  dresses combined with dark python skin or sharp suits with straight lines and the absolute absence of buttons, zippers and anything that could prove the stitching of the fabric…Shoulders are straight, above accentuated waists and slim pants, ecxept in the case of a wonderful tuxedo pant or the soft wide leg ensemble with the 70’s vibe…The dresses are knee length, or super short and as you go deeper into the night, they project a space-amazon quality with the python skin creating a sharp and  abstract print as it compliments or contrasts the dark hue of the fabric. Joseph Altuzarra’s debut collection was Spring 2009.
