Karl Lagerfeld has left his magic imprint on the fashion world once again…everyone seems to be talking about Chanel’s new arctic collection for next winter, which seems to be linked to the Ice Age as it is covered in fur and walks on thin ice, imported from Scandinavia. The Kaiser’s brilliance lies on the fact that the fur was Fake. And that is an act of consciousness on our age. As the precious Chanel fabrics and forms were intimately stitched to bold surfaces of fur, they seemed to deliver a message “Cover yourselves… stay warm in cold weather…you are walking on slippery grounds…find the way…walk steady”.
